Function Of The Skeletal System
The skeletal system supports the body, protects internal organs, allows movement, and stores mineral reserves.
State The Roles Of Bones, Ligaments, Muscles, Tendons, And Nerves In Human Movement
- Bones: The bones provide a frame for stability and acts as levers to help movement
- Ligaments: The ligaments hold the bones together
- Muscles: The muscles provide the force to move the bones
- Tendons: The tendons connect the muscles to the bones
- Nerves: Motor Neurons provide the stimulus for muscle movement and co-ordinates sets of antagonistic muscles
