Emotiva was showing off their USB-powered Little ($160) and Big ($219) Ego DAC/Headphone amps. Regardless of the size of your Ego, it will play PCM resolutions up to 32/384K via micro USB input. There are three user-selectable digital filter options (Symmetrical, Asymmetrical Low, and Asymmetrical High), "Headphone blend mode", and analog volume control. The Big adds line level and digital outputs to the Little's 3.5mm headphone jack.
At the top of the new Klipsch X Series series is the X20i, which adds a supertweeter to the full-range armature of the X12i, resulting in excellent sound quality.
The Emotiva XPS-1 is a compact, affordable phono stage preamplifier that is universally adaptable to any system.
