Work Hard and Be Kind
Respect Quote this Week
Principal's Message
Respect for Self: Believe in yourself, have a growth mindset, positive self talk, self care
Respect for Others: Being on time, having materials ready, listen, be open minded, use respectful language
Respect for Property: Clean up after yourself, take care of your classroom, take care of the gardens, care for and return library books.
These are a few of the messages we've been working on at OTES over the past few months. Students are doing such a great job being part of the solution to problems.
Thank you to all the Garden Volunteers on Saturday. We were able to get so much done. Bring on the winter!
Don't forget if you have volunteered at our school and need to log your hours, the link is provided on our new APP/Website

We are hoping our families will log at least 10 hours of support for our school this year.
Looking Back
By now teachers, for the most part, have conducted their Parent Teacher Conferences. If you have not had a conference with your child's classroom teacher, please contact the teacher directly to set up a meeting time.
Students were excited to swim at the YMCA this week. Our second graders are the given this opportunity each year and they really enjoy their time in the pool.
