Personification
Personification in a noun that attribution of a personal nature or human characteristics to something nonhuman, or the representation of an abstract quality in human form.
Ex. from the "Scarlet Ibis" "..lightening was playing across half the sky..."
Alliteration
Ex. "Desperately he struck out with strong strokes" in the "Most Dangerous Game"
