Intent to Return
Parents/Guardians of K - 4th Grade STEM Scholars, we are beginning the process of planning for the 2024 - 25 school year. To plan accurately, we will need to know if your child will be returning to Weaver Lake Elementary, moving out of the district, or planning on attending another school (i.e. parochial, out of district, in-district, etc.). We are also looking for your input when placing your child in a classroom next year. Complete and submit a separate form for each student by no later than May 3, 2024.
Tri II Report Cards
Tri II report cards have been posted in ParentVUE for families to access. Report cards can be found under the Documents tab or Report Card tab in ParentVUE. Elementary Report Card FAQs and Descriptors for the 2023-24 school year are available in PeachJar. Log onto ParentVUE to access or create your account.

STEM Event: Solar Eclipse, Monday, April 8th
On April 8th, a total solar eclipse (partial for Minnesota) will be making its way across North America. With such a monumental event occurring during the school day, Weaver Lake will be having students participate in various ways including reading a book, watching a video, and participating in a hands-on activity. Classes will be going outside for an early recess before the eclipse window. All students will have the opportunity to watch a live stream of the event from Texas at 1:17 local time. A 20-minute outdoor viewing of the event for students in grades 3-5 will also be held around the peak time of 2:02pm. More information, including an opt-out form for grades 3-5, will be coming the week after spring break.
Asynchronous/Online Learning Day: April 19th 💻
Friday, April 19 is a scheduled online learning day for all scholars. Teachers will post asynchronous learning on Seesaw for students by 9:00am on Friday, April 19. Teachers will also be available online with defined office hours. Classroom teachers will communicate with their families regarding their specific office hours. Staff will be participating in Staff Development on this day. In-person learning will resume on Monday, April 22.
Parent Pick Up/End of Day Reminders
Students will be dismissed for parent pick up at 3:55pm. Please pick up your child/children by the sidewalk in front of the school. Your child/children must be ready to enter the vehicle on the passenger side/curb side. Proceed as far as possible down the curb so other vehicles can pull up behind you. If you arrive early, please use the designated parent pick up spaces on the south end of the lot. Please do not stop within the crosswalk. If preferred, please park in the designated parking spot and meet your child/children by the sidewalk in front of the school.
Parking or lining up on the other side of the patrol/grassy area is not permitted as cars need to be able to drive through that area. All students and parents are expected to cross with patrols when not being picked up along the curb.
