The following employees that attended class on November 14th passed with flying colors, and are now officially certified in CPR : Natalie Mercer, Taylor Clark, Kris Wardlaw, Dawn Stewart, Susan Bilnoski and Susan Baker. Thanks to each of you for being brave enough to be my first class on campus! - Jaymie Walton

SH Education Foundation Designer Handbag Bingo
It was Ladies Night (and one gentleman) at the Spring Hill High School cafeteria on November 15, when more than 200 friends played bingo for a chance to win designer purses. The event, hosted by Spring Hill Education Foundation, raised $9200 to support the Grants for Teachers this year. In addition to the 10 games of regular bingo, everyone had a chance to purchase an extra card for a round of blackout to win a Louis Vuitton Eva Crossbody bag, valued at $795. Bingo winners took home designer handbags, and between games, door prizes were given out. Prizes were provided by Lindsay & Henry Robinson, Bubba’s 33, Fuzzy’s Taco, Fabulous Cookies, and Cowboy Chicken.
John Borens, SHISD School Board member, was our emcee for the evening. Game sponsors included Cherokee Directional Drilling, Neighbors ER and Nicole Bodenheimer. Handbag sponsors were Sunsational 360 Spa, Noon & Associates Real Estate, Ramsey Realty Group, East Texas Speech Therapy, Ben & Deena Shelton, Darrell & Leslie Paull, and David & Natalie Lynch. On the Border provided salsa and chips that went great with food provided by Hospitality Health ER and McAlister’s and the fruit tray from Chick Fil A. Hospitality Health ER did an outstanding job arranging refreshments for the event! For dessert, participants enjoyed SmallCakes (a cupcakery) and could add a cup of specialty coffee from the Coffee Mill to go with it. Other donations to complete the refreshments were contributed by Neighborhood Walmart, Brookshire’s – Spring Hill, and Made-Rite.
A special thank you to all that came out to support the event. We appreciate the SH High School Student Council students that helped with modeling and working with us throughout the evening. We even had an extra model show up……..Mr. Steven Snell, our Superintendent! This was our first Designer Handbag Bingo, but from the response we had, it won’t be our last. It was a fun-filled fabulous night to raise money for our teachers! - Patti Miller, Director of the Spring Hill Education Foundation
