News From Room 106
April 19, 2024
Families,
It is great to finally seem to have the warm weather here to stay! The students have really enjoyed it at school! As a reminder, we do ask that they do wear a light jacket when the temperature is below 50 degrees.
This week, the students have started the end of the year testing! They completed the NWEA-MAP Math and MSTEP ELA this week. We are very impressed with their efforts on both assessments and their scores on NWEA. We will be taking the MSTEP Math portion on Wednesday, April 24th. We will also plan to take the NWEA ELA next week. Students do receive their score when the test is completed for NWEA, but MSTEP scores will be sent home right before Summer Break or during Summer Break.
Third Grade will be taking a field trip to John Ball Zoo on May 10th. Please try and get the permission slips and payments turned in ASAP. If you plan on chaperoning, please also get your background completed and turned into the main office ASAP.
Have a great weekend,
Mrs. Arends
