Body Systems: Nervous System

Nervous System
There are 3 main structures in the Nervous System. The main structure of the nervous system is the brain, its funtion is to recieve nerve impulses to coordinate the actions of the organism. After the brain recieves messages the nerves carry those messages throughout the body. These messages are sent through the spinal cord up to the brain.
Levels of Organization
Astrocytes
These cells are found in the brain's tubing and are mostly the blood-brain barrier that stops some substances from entering the brain. This cell also fills up the scars from injuries.
Nervous Tissue
The nevous tissue senses motives and transmits signals to and from varyous body parts of an organism. Neurons are what make up nervous tissue.
Organs
~The Brain: Its function is to control the body, it also motors the bodys ability to balance, walk, run and more.
~The Spinal Cord:This organ connects a large part of the PNS to the brain. All messages are sent through the spinal cord.
~The CNS:Controls most function of the bodyand mind. It has 2 parts, the brain and spinal cord.
~The PNS:This organ is to connect a central nervous system (CNS) to the limbs and organs, serving as a communication system.
Organ System
NERVOUS SYSTEM!!!!!
Organism
Caries out the function of the nervous system. People are living out the nervous system because they can walk, run, think on a daily basis
Nervous System!
Homostasis
The main function of homostasis is to keep the bodys skin and inner organs in normal condition. All of homeostasis is done when the tempature and oxygen levels are set for your body. If the levels are not set, the organisms system will shut down or completly die. When the organism get hypothermea the homeostasis system does not work properly.
Cold Person
Cold and are trying to warm up by, shivering and wearing warm cloths
Sweaty Person
Hot and are trying to cool down by, wiping off their sweat and standig near an AC vent
Perfect Person
Perfect temperature for a body and are comfortable
Interactions: Skelatal and Endocrine connects to the Nerves
The nervous system connects to the skelatal system because it holds up the whole body while the organism carries out the nerves\messages going throughout the body. The endocrine system controls how other organs function and produces/releases blood sugar and hormones that connect with the nevous system.
