What do you call a Role Model? My definition for a Role Model is someone that has impacted me and others in a positive way, teaching educational matters, and has impact in helping our daily lives easier. I chose Dr. Martin Cooper cause he has helped with our communication and technology resources.

Dr. Martin went to school and college, he earned his bachelors and masters degree. He went to school in Illinois, he earned both from the Illinois Institute of technology. When he earned his degrees in was in the year of 1950 and 1957.

Dr. Martin Cooper is known because he invented the cell phone while the technology was there. He did something good by inventing the cell phone so others could use an easier way to communicate with family members far away from them.

It took 17 years, from the initial phone call by Dr. Martin Cooper in 1973, for the mobile communication concept to be fully developed and marketed to the world, but today, there are more subscribers to mobile phones. Dr. Martin Cooper went to the Navy and served 4 years. The communication breakthrough of Martin Cooper did not go unnoticed. He was awarded the Wharton Infosys Business Award in 1995, for his effort in the communications field.
