Attendance Calls
Mansfield ISD will begin making automated daily attendance calls for elementary and intermediate campuses beginning on Monday, March 4th. These will only go out to the families of students with an Unexcused absence. The calls will be made after 6:05 PM in the evening on school days. Please be aware that your child's attendance is very important to us. We want to maximize their opportunities for learning so they are life, college, and career ready. Your child's teacher is using every possible minute they can to support your student in developing reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies knowledge and skills.
Here is a sample of the call:
Hello, this is a message from the attendance office at Kenneth Davis Elementary, calling to inform you that your student <<First Name>> <<Last Name>> was absent today. Please contact the attendance office of your student's school at, 817-299-7840, to clear the absence, or send a signed note upon returning to school. If you have already contacted the school office you can disregard this message. If you would like to replay this message, please press the star key. Thank you.

MISD Bond 2024
On your ballot, the Mansfield ISD Bond will be separated into five propositions, as is required by law.
Here’s a look at the total breakdown:
â—Ź Proposition A: Equip & Renovate School Facilities
â—Ź Proposition B: Instructional Technology
â—Ź Proposition C: Stadium Renovations
â—Ź Proposition D: Fine Arts Additions & Phase 2 of Multi-Purpose Athletic Complexes
â—Ź Proposition E: Phase 3 of Multi-Purpose Athletic Complexes

Like your own house or car, the district has equipment and materials that age and are due to be
repaired or replaced. Big ticket items, like heating and air conditioning equipment, roofing and
plumbing, aren’t covered in the daily operations budget and must be covered by bond funds.
Prop A includes lifecycle replacements across the district, including HVAC, technology infrastructure
and new school buses.
