The registration deadline for summer transportation and all first semester summer classes is May 19. Congratulations to Elmwood Elementary second-grade teacher Kristen Vitello on being recognized as a Chicago Bears Classroom Legend! The program recognizes quality teachers who go above and beyond for their students! We're so proud of Ms. Vitello, who is a Naperville 203 graduate!
Naperville 203 Celebrates Black Success At Showcase
Sunday's S.U.C.C.E.S.S Black History Month Showcase was a SUCCESS! Participants gathered for networking and refreshments around the theme: "Celebrating Black Success: The Black Professional." Thank you to everyone who participated in the event!
Board of Education Candidate Forum
General Home & School has partnered with the League of Women Voters of Naperville to organize a Board of Education Candidate Forum for the election on April 4.
The candidate forum will be held at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, on Zoom and on Facebook Live on the League of Women Voters of Naperville page. The forum will be recorded and available on the League of Women Voters of Naperville YouTube channel after the event.
Calling All Incoming Kindergarteners
Order a Class of 2036 Grow With Me T-shirt for your incoming kindergartner today. This is the perfect T-shirt for your future graduate to wear for pictures on the first day of school each year. Order the size you think your child will be as a senior in high school and watch as they grow into their shirt from year to year. Available in sizes L and XL. The price of the shirts is $22, which includes shipping.

Color Guard Little Lights Clinic
Calling all current second-eighth-graders! The Naperville North High School Winter Guard team is hosting their Little Lights clinic, at NNHS on March 10. This fun opportunity allows our students to get information about the color guard activity, learn a short flag routine, and perform the routine at a local competition on March 12 at NNHS. As a parent or guardian of one or more students attending a Naperville 203 school, your feedback is requested via participation in the annual statewide Illinois 5Essentials Survey. The purpose of this online survey is to understand your perceptions in the areas of connectedness, satisfaction, interaction, involvement, and quality.
Theatre Central presents 'Almost Maine'
Naperville Central's drama club will present "Almost Maine" from March 2-4 in the NCHS Auditorium. Tickets can be purchased online using the button below, or at the box office (cash only).

NEF’s 30th Annual Building a Passion Breakfast Fundraiser
Enjoy a breakfast program featuring art and entertainment by Naperville 203 students and network with business, community and elected leaders, parents, district leadership, and members of the community.
The breakfast will take place from 7-9 a.m. on March 22, at the Embassy Suites in Naperville. Join us and experience how your gifts to the Naperville Education Foundation unlock the door to opportunities for students. Individual tickets and sponsorships are available by clicking the link below.

Young Mental Health First Aid Training
Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in youth. This 6.5-hour training gives adults who work with youth, as well as parents and community members, the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to children and adolescents (ages 6-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
Virtual Learning Includes: First Aiders will complete a two-hour, self-paced online class prior to a 4.5-hour instructor-led (in-person) course.
Date: Saturday, March 18
Time: 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. including a break for lunch. KidsMatter will provide lunch for all participants. Order form to come.
Location: Waubonsie Valley High School, 2590 Ogden Avenue, Aurora

NNHS Huskies Compete in Midwest Regional First Robotics Competition
Huskie Robotics will compete at the Midwest Regional First Robotics Competition on Friday, March 10, and Saturday, March 11, against 46 other teams from five states and three countries. The event takes place at the UIC Credit Union 1 Arena and is open and free to the public.

High School Students: Spring Snowball Retreat 'True Colors' Registration Now Open!
Mark your calendars for the Spring 2023 Operation Snowball retreat; 'True Colors' will be April 22- 23! This teen-led/adult-guided retreat gives you the opportunity to discover something about yourself, have fun, and learn ways you can impact your peers and younger students. Spend a weekend focusing on self-care and celebrating your true colors with us! Students can learn more about Snowball by attending an open meeting 3/16 at WVHS, from 7:00-9:00 pm.
