Physical Features
The region contains two main landscapes. The George Plateau and the Torngat Mountains. The George Plateau is a level bedrock plain with deep river valleys.

You can go camping, bird watching, boat tours, diving, iceberg viewing, hiking, whale watching, kayaking, shopping, golfing, and much more!
Wildlife and Vegetation
The climate is usually cold there so more of the arctic animals live there like, polar bears, caribou, arctic hare, arctic fox and, the black bear. Some of the vegetation there are arctic poppy in bloom and the mountain cranberry.
