The Weekly Update - 3/18
Week of March 11th
Week of March 18th
Dear Ranger Families,
We are now officially in the Fourth Quarter of the school year. We have a lot of exciting events planned, so it is imperative that students have good attendance and positive behavior.
On Thursday, March 21st we will host our last Parent/Teacher Conferences for the year. The scheduling links will be posted below. Eighth grade students should also plan on attending the scheduling meeting at the High School that evening (additional information below). When you are done with conferences or the scheduling meeting, the High School is hosting a Resource and Involvement Fair, there will be many organizations represented and students will have the opportunity to win gift cards!
This week is Severe Weather Awareness Week in the State of Ohio. We will participate in the statewide tornado drill on Wednesday, March 20th. (https://ready.ohio.gov/)
Next week (March 25th) is Spring Break. We hope your students will use this time to re-energize and prepare to end the school year strong.
We are noticing an increase in students using their AirPods, Beats, headphones, etc. while walking in the hallways. This is a major safety concern. Students should not use these items while in school unless directed to do so by a teacher. At the end of the school day, students may use these items once in their car or on the bus.
Let's have a GREAT week!

Please read the following message from the High School Guidance Staff:
Dear Parents and Guardians:
We are very excited that the Hamilton Township High School Class of 2028 will be attending the
high school next year! One of the most important transitions to high school for your student is
scheduling classes for their freshman year. Because this is such an important step, we believe that
parent/guardian participation in the process is essential.
On Thursday, March 21st at 5:30 pm, we would like to invite you and your student to the
Hamilton Township High School Auditorium where we will be presenting information
regarding various high school course offerings, scheduling classes for freshman year, and making
the transition to high school. Immediately following the presentation, you and your student will
have the opportunity to complete their course requests for the 2024-2025 school year. Please
note that your student will only be submitting their requests for courses next year and it may be
subject to change once all requests are processed and approved through the guidance office and
upon completion of the master schedule.
This event is the first step for your student as they look forward to their high school career. It is
imperative that you attend this meeting with your student, as your input is very valuable in the
scheduling process. Prior to the scheduling meeting, you should access the Course
Registration Guide for the 2024-2025 school year. This is attached below.
We look forward to meeting you and your student on March 21st. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact the high school guidance office at (614) 491-8044 ext. 1806.
Sincerely,
Meghann Steele, Chris Trisler, and Caley Stevens

These items may only be worn when directed to do so by a teacher.
2. Food/Drinks-
Students are not to have food and/or drinks in class. Food/drinks should remain closed and in lockers until lunch. You should not have snacks in the classrooms or hallways.
Students are only permitted to have water throughout the day.
3. Hoodies-
If students choose to wear a hoodie in the building, the hood MUST REMAIN down. Students who are repeatedly told to take their hood down will be banned from wearing hoodies at school.
4. Blankets, Snuggies, Comfy Sweatshirts-
All blankets and blanket type items are to be left at home. This includes Snuggies and the Comfy hoodies.
Dismissal Reminders
Please make sure your child knows of their transportation arrangements each day. If a change needs to be made, please contact the school BEFORE 2:00 so we can get the message to your child. Contacting the school after 2:00 does not guarantee that your child will get the message.
Car Rider Reminders
1. Car riders should exit the building using the front doors.
2. Students should enter the vehicle once it has pulled up to the sidewalk area. If you do not see your student, please continue to move forward so we can keep the line moving.
3. Students should not be walking across the parking lot or the grassy area to get to a car that is not yet to the sidewalk. This causes a significant safety concern!
4. Drivers, please drive slowly, follow the flow of traffic and be patient!
Student safety is of utmost importance! Please help us keep our students safe by following these guidelines.
