9th grade College Prep scholar and Topeka High student Destiny Shipley advanced to the semi-final stage of the Topeka Youth Commission Grant Competition! Destiny has applied for a grant to display her artwork around the Topeka community. Good luck with the next round of the competition, Destiny! We are so proud of you!

Math Spotlight: Honors Geometry 9
9th grade Honors Geometry scholars used scale drawings and proportions to investigate the question: "Are Barbie and Ken Proportional?" After comparing their own measurements to Barbie and Ken's, students had to analyze their findings within a real-world context.
