Weekly Updates/ Reminders:
- MOCK MAP- will continue through March 8th- ALL students must be complete by COB on March 7th
- Take the time to set the stage and encourage your students before Mock MAP each day-- students will mimic what they see from you!
- All documentation for any student you are considering as possible retention should have already been sent home. We do not want to wait and catch any parents by surprise at the end of the year.
- Grades must be updated in Tyler weekly.
- All exit ticket info is updated in your data trackers on a daily basis.
- ACTION: Evidence of standards review and MAP "like" questions being implemented.
- Achievement Series assessment scores MUST be a grade for all students.
- Check your PST/PLC agendas prior to each weeks meetings and insure you are prepared.
- ACTION: MAP prep should be intentionaly planned, included in lesson plans and evident in all 3rd - 6th grade classrooms.
- Check attendance twice a day, morning and afternoon for accurate attendance check.
- Attendance calls MUST be made daily for all absent students.
- Staff Intramural Day- March 9-- if you are interested in playing basketball or volleyball please sign up with Ms. Egli, our team captain. You can sign up for all other events on the Intramural website: https://www.kcpublicschools.org/intramurals

YTD Attendance: 83.86%--- this is dropping every week. Please be diligent in following your student attendance and reaching out to families when students are absent. We MUST encourage our parents to bring their kids to school daily!

- Exit tickets must be logged into master trackers for ELA and Math on a daily basis.How are using your exit tickets to drive your instruction?
- Student Work Samples: Look at student work samples on a daily basis looking for misconceptions, trends, patterns and ways to change instructional strategies.
- Guided Reading/ Math Stations-- plans created and implemented for each small groups based on individual needs (we must see evidence of these plans when we observe)

- Culture of Feedback: Are you developing an environment where students feel safe to make mistakes and are encouraged to share their thought process?
- Classroom Culture: Are students executing transitions, routines, and procedures in an orderly and efficient manner with minimal directions from classroom teacher?
