On Friday, December 9 the Drama Guild students performed four One Act Plays. Congratulations to all of the students that participated and the winners for each category. It was a wonderful evening of theatre. Thank you to the judges and parent volunteers that helped to make this event such a success. You can find some pictures from the evening below.
The Nipmuc Drama Guild also has a big announcement. The Spring Musical this year will be “Beauty and the Beast”. Without knowing that this is the 30th Anniversary of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast,” Ms. Simmonds, Ms. Johnson and the E-Board of the Drama Guild selected this timeless classic for the Spring Musical.
The musical will be performed Friday, March 24 - Sunday, March 26 with both afternoon and evening performances (exact times to be announced.) There will even be a “meet and greet your favorite character” with more information to follow.
The Drama Guild will hold singing and acting auditions for the musical this Wednesday, December 14 and Friday, December 16. There is a sign up and all the instructions you need on the Drama Guild Google Classroom. Save the date for this classic tale.
