Dear Chesterbrook Academy Elementary Families,
This week was out of this world! What better way to kick it off than with a school-wide viewing of the solar eclipse. We are so fortunate to have been able to enjoy this astronomical event with our school community. Although the skies were a bit cloudy we definitely experienced a few moments of awe and wonder! Looking forward to the next eclipse in 2044!
A number of our classrooms took part in experiential learning opportunities throughout the week! 2nd grade kicked it off with their visit to the PA Wolf Sanctuary as part of their annual community service project. Students will educate our school community on these incredible creatures and will fundraise to adopt a wolf!
Fist grade students will soon welcome baby chicks! In collaboration with Quiver Farms, 1st grade will care for the chick eggs while eagerly anticipating their arrival. Students will track their progress in their chick journals and look forward to caring for them and watching them grow!
5th Grade students, along with Mrs. G, visited Goggleworks Center for the Arts for a tour and glassblowing exhibit! As a special treat, the glassblowers created a piece of art based on Blake H's drawing of a shark! It will soon be on display at CBA!
Last, but certainly not least, Pre-K students and Ms. Aber presented their Spring Concert, Under the Sea. We are so impressed by Ms. Aber's commitment to producing a fantastic show and of the students' amazing performance. Is Baby Shark on repeat for anyone else?! Congratulations Pre-K!

๐ท Our Week In Pictures ๐
๐ถ๏ธ Summer Camp at CBA ๐
Join us for School-Age Summer Camp
At our summer camps, we measure time not in minutes but in moments. Like the moment your child jumps for joy when scoring their first goal. The look on their face when the rocket they built actually launches. The thrill of performing on a stage, solving a math challenge, or creating digital art. Epic moments like these happen all summer long at our day camps, sports camps, specialty camps, and academic camps. This is the place where epic moments happen!
We require all students to wear a school uniform unless otherwise directed.
- Daily Uniform: Girls and boys should wear a green or blue polo shirt with khaki shorts/pants/skirt.
- PE Uniform: PE t-shirt and mesh shorts or sweatpants with sneakers are required on PE days.
- Shoes & Socks: On Daily Uniform days, students must wear brown shoes with white, green or blue socks. Students should wear sneakers on PE days.
**Please note, students should not wear Ugg boots to school**
