Dear Mason Families
We started our week with a wonderful Music performance from Mr. Hipple and all of our K, 2, 4 and 5th graders; what an amazing treat! Thank you, Mr. Hipple and our young musicians for all your hard work. I was extremely proud to watch you perform this week!
As we head into summer, please begin thinking about learning opportunities for your child over the summer. It is very important that students need rest coupled with opportunities to keep their educational skills sharp. I believe the saying goes, if you don't use it, you will lose it! A simple plan of 30 minutes of reading and 30 minutes of Math exploration a day can really set your child up for a successful school year in the Fall!
Last but not least, It has been amazing watching all the donations for our teachers coming into the office. We are extremely lucky to have such a supportive community who values educators! Thanks for taking the time to honor our amazing educators at Mason next week during Educator Appreciation Week!
Thanks for your support,
Roy Bishop, Jr.
Principal
Pokemon Cards: Please let your child know that Pokemon cards need to stay at home and are not to be bought to school. When a student loses a card or one comes up missing, you can only imagine the disruption to the educational process that ensues. Thanks for your support!
Running Club Help: We are so excited to have so many students who want to participate in our Running Club and it would help to have some extra adults there to make sure everything runs smoothly. If you are available to help on Mondays or/and Thursdays from 3:45-4:30 pm please contact the main office at 313-432-4403 so can we make a list of volunteers! Thank you so much in advance for your help.

Bottle Drive at Mason: Our Mason PTO has made it easier than ever to get rid of those ever-mounting cans and bottles! You will now find a marked bin near the dumpster in the school lot. Just drive up and deposit your bagged returnables and know that you are helping Mason to raise funds that will enhance our kids’ school experience. Thank you so much for your support!
