Greek Mythology

The beginning
Around the the time period of 500-336 BC the Greek people believed that Mount Olympus and the world was once conquerered be titian and one of the most ruthless and faired titian of all was Cronus. The was known as the king of the titian sand in fear that one day he would be overthrown by his children because profits told him he began consuming them so they could never rebel against him. But is wife Rhea loved her children to much and was able to hide and protect one of her kids from Cronus and his name was Zeus. After years of maturing and growing in strength he was final able to get close enough to Cronus and cut open his stomach freeing his two brothers and three sister. After they were freed from Cronus they teamed up and helped destroy and imprison the rest of the titans.
The three realms
After all the fighting and blood shed the gods decided that each the most powerful of the gods should rule one of the three realms. Zeus is King and father of the gods the ruler of Mount Olympus and the god of the sky, weather, thunder, lightning, law, order, and justice he also claimed Mount Olympus for him self. Poseidon God of the sea, rivers, floods, droughts, and earthquakes. He is a brother to Zeus and Hades. He rules one of the three realms of the universe as king of the sea and the waters. Hades King of the underworld and the dead, and god of regret.He has control over one of the third realms of the universe the underworld. He is also known for being sneaky and deceiving once he tricked Persephoney to stay in the underworld with him by making her eat a pomegranate. Once you eat in the underworld you can never leave.

Ares
God of war, bloodshed, and violence. The son of Zeus and Hera, he was depicted as a beardless youth who was typically either nude with a helmet and spear or sword or as an armed warrior. Ares was a very important god to the Greek because he gave them hope. Instead of praying to Zeus or Athena ( Goddess of wisdom ) the would pray to Ares because they believed that if they prayed to him during the heat of battle then he would watch over and protect you from death and loosing the battle.
Hephaestus
Crippled god of fire, metalworking, and crafts. He is also the son of Zeus he is married to Aphrodite ( Goddess of love ) but sadly she cheats on him all the time with Ares, Adonis, and Anchises but Hephaestus is oblivious to it. He is also the god that made Zeus's most powerful weapon the lightning bolt. When he was born he was physically ugly and lame. When his mother Hera saw him for the first time, she was so frustrated that she took her son and threw him from Mount Olympus and into the sea causing one of his legs to be dis formed .
Athena
Goddess of intelligence, skill, peace, warfare, battle strategy, handicrafts, and wisdom. According to most traditions, she was born from Zeus's head fully formed and armored. She was depicted crowned with a crested helm, armed with shield and a spear, and wearing the aegis over a long dress. Many politicians and generals worshiped her because the believed that she would give them the knowledge to over come their opponent.
