ART
Some students will have Fine Art Showcase fliers coming home. The flier will have the student's name and which artwork to be included in our fine art showcase. This should be a great night and I look forward to seeing some of our students and their families there. Lewis will also be participating in NISD's fine art fest April 20th! Last but not least, the art room will busy with colorful art for Spring. Some of our older grades will be making a legacy project for our school's court yard.

Kinder
The month of April will bring great lessons for Kinder. Students will make inferences and draw conclusions based on valid and reliable information in order to identify, analyze, and evaluate information in order to make decisions, solve problems, and set priorities based on evidence. They will also work effectively in a partnership or group where they will work collaboratively while taking ownership for the quality of their product.
Primary (Grades 1-2)
The month of April will bring exciting lessons for this GT group. We will begin the month by talking about ethics. Students will understand that ethics are moral principles that govern a person's behavior and apply their understanding of ethics to a real world situation. This is followed by students understanding their own struggles and superpowers and analyzing content to find trends.
Intermediate (Grades 3-5)
Intermediate GT has begun their end of year Showcase Project. We have begun to research the Language of the Discipline (Vocabulary) specific to our system creation. In April we will assign groups, brainstorm and decide on a theme by collaborating and communicating with group members, discussing budgets, buying supplies, assigning duties and responsibilities, and begin building. It will be an exciting and challenging month. More information about our Showcase will be in our GT monthly Smore.
