January 9th, 2020 Edition
January 13th is a "B" Specialist Week
A Note from our Principals ~
Welcome back!! We missed our time with your kids over the break and are so glad to be back learning with our Salem Woods family. Our awesome student council began a welcoming team this morning and greeted students as they entered the building. It has been so wonderful to reconnect with students and watch their excitement to see each other.
We would like to highlight that Monday, January 13, Salem Woods will be hosting the School Board Meeting at 6 pm in our 4th-grade pod. As part of the meeting, our school team will have the opportunity to share the amazing work on creating a learning community that encourages students and staff to find joy in their learning.
With the snow flurries this morning, we are reminded of the importance of dressing in layers. Thank you for working with your student to plan for weather appropriate clothing choices. Please see our reminder below about how to stay informed in the event of inclement weather.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful kids with us!
Stay warm,
Stephanie and Jennnifer

Don't miss out on being in the 2019-2020 yearbook!!
You don't want to miss this one! The PTA is gearing up and creating this year's yearbook as you read this! They have so many fun pictures already, and want to make sure they capture all Timberbeasts! Be sure to turn in a PTA photo release form (see below) if you want your child to be in this year's yearbook.
The PTA must have on file a release for each student. Without a release, they will not be in it, and we don't want anyone to be left out.
