Drop Off/Pick Up Gate Information
- Gates open for drop-off at 7:20 a.m. Doors open at 7:30 to allow student entry.
- The gate is activated through a pressure plate. It doesn't work by a sensor.
- The gate is timed to go down after 3 seconds of being raised. There is no sensor that stops the gate from going down.
- To ensure all cars are in queue so we have no tardies, the gate shuts down at 7:58 a.m. Students are counted tardy at 8:00 a.m. We need to ensure there is time for cars in the queue to get to the door by 8:00 a.m.
- To ensure safety, if there is a car in front of you, please wait for the gate to come down and reset prior to driving through.

Moving Up Ceremony
Fifth-grade parents only are invited to attend the ceremony. Due to limited space, only two fifth-grade family members per child are invited to attend. You will be able to take your child home after the ceremony and our fifth-grade parade.
Fifth-grade parents, please remember:
1. Park in the old middle school parking lot on the northeast side of the building. You will enter through West Oakley Avenue (car drop off/pick up driveway).
2. You will need to show your ID and sign your child out with the classroom teacher. You cannot leave without signing your child out and letting the teacher know you are leaving with your child.
3. You will need to be out of the parking lot by 2:00 p.m. due to dismissal. There is a lot of traffic and we need to ensure clearance for car pick-ups.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!

Monthly Staff and Teacher Appreciation
Just a reminder! See below for your opportunity to nominate a support staff member or teacher for our April recognition! We have amazing teachers and staff who work daily to ensure our students are safe, cared for, and reach academic success. In order to honor their hard work, we will be doing a monthly staff appreciation recognition! We will accept nominations from parents or other staff members. One teacher and one support staff member will be randomly drawn each month to highlight them as teacher/staff member of the month! You are welcome to nominate as many adults as you wish or you can save nominations for another month! All nominees will be recognized, but those randomly drawn will get their picture along with the reason for the nomination posted to social media and Dojo. They will also receive a certificate to hang outside of their classroom door and a small gift of appreciation. Please use the link below to access the Google Form to nominate any staff or teacher.
