Diana Lopez Represents America
Growing Up Taekwondo
Diana Lopez started taekwondo as soon as she could walk because her brother Steven Lopez owned a taekwondo school. When she was growing up everything revolved around taekwondo. Her goal was winning the Olympics but also having fun. She trained hard and in 2008 she represented America by winning the Olympics. We could all learn a lesson in life from her and how hard work and determination can get you anywhere in life.
Winning The Olympics
Diana Lopez said quote, "You know, me winning two gold medals, going for a third one, that's nice. But being there with Mark and my sister, and my brother being the coach, it's a dream come true. It's going to be awesome." This is how she shows that family is a big part of her winning a Gold in the Olympics.
