6TH GRADE BAKE SALE
Come out on Election Day and help support our 6th-grade class party. You can vote, grab a yummy treat, and then visit the book fair! All proceeds will benefit the 6th-grade party at Urban Air.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR IS BACK!
Stop by the Book Fair and shop when you come to vote on Tuesday, November 7th. The Book Fair will be set up in the cafeteria on that date. Tell your friends & neighbors, too!
It's never too early to start your holiday shopping. Books make great gifts! We have something for everyone.
- Students will shop with their class on Wednesday, November 8th, or Thursday, November 9th. Teachers will let you know which day their class is shopping.
- Friday night, November 10th, from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm, is our Book Fair and Student Council Social.

Volunteers are needed for weekday shopping and during the Friday night event. Please sign up on Signup Genius. The link is provided below.

Veteran's Day Assembly
If you have any photos you would like to have shared in our slideshow to be presented this day, please complete THIS FORM by Friday, October 27th!
This year, we'd also like to invite our school community's veterans to the assembly to be recognized! If any veterans plan to attend, please indicate that on the form as an RSVP.

NPPSEA GLOW DANCE PARTY Fundraiser
- Saturday, November 11th, 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. @ NPHS Senior Cafe'
- Tickets are $5.00 per person at the door.
- Food and drinks will be available.
- Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
HALLOWEEN CANDY COLLECTION
Do you have too much Halloween candy or candy you don't like or want? We are collecting candy to be sent to our troops overseas!
Bring the candy to school and drop it off in the box near the office. The last day to donate your candy is Friday, November 10th. THANK YOU!
American Education Week
YOU'RE INVITED!
The staff of Gwynedd Square Elementary School cordially invites you to visit our school during American Education Week on Tuesday, November 14th.
On November 14th, our families are invited to attend during the following times:
- Kindergarten: 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
- 1st-Grade: 9:30 am - 10:30 am
- 2nd-Grade: 9:30 am - 10:30 am
- 3rd-Grade: 9:30 am - 10:30 am
- 4th-Grade: 9:30 am - 10:30 am
- 5th-Grade: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
- 6th-Grade: 10:00 am - 11:00 pm
- Miss Merrill's class: provided by email from the teacher
- Mrs. Mintzer's class: provided by email from the teacher
With many families having children in multiple grades, we understand the need to visit more than one class at a pre-determined time. If you need to do this, please exit and enter each class quietly.

Author Visit
NBC10 Meteorologist Brittney Shipp, from the First Alert Weather Team, will be our guest speaker at the Gwynedd Square Elementary School and Gwynedd Square Home & School Association – Author Visit on November 15th.

Thanksgiving Food Drive
Our Thanksgiving Food Drive to help local families in need for the holidays will run from November 13th - 17th. Your student can drop off donations in collection boxes found throughout the school. Please see the attached flyer for details.
North Penn High School Tours
The North Penn School District will be offering open tours of North Penn High School beginning September 5, 2023, until January 9, 2024. The behind-the-scenes tours will help residents be more informed about the renovation conversations taking place while highlighting the facility needs of NPHS.
Tours will be offered at the following dates and times at NPHS (1340 S Valley Forge Road, Lansdale):
Tuesday, November 14, 2023, 6:00 - 7:00 pm
Tuesday, November 28, 2023, 6:00 - 7:00 pm
Tuesday, December 12, 2023, 6:00 - 7:00 pm
Tuesday, January 9, 2024, 6:00 - 7:00 pm
Tours will be conducted by Pete Nicholson, Administrator of Secondary Education and Renovations. Nicholson will be joined by members of the NPHS student government who can discuss their experiences at NPHS and the current facilities available.
