P21 Framework
The framework was developed to define and illustrate the skills and knowledge students need to succeed in work, life and citizenship, as well as the support systems necessary for 21st century learning outcomes
21st Century Skills
This year we are focusing on 21st Century Skills as a school. As a library department we are focusing on the following:
Social & Cross Cultural Skills
Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
Information Literacy
Library Departmental Goals
- We want to incorporate the Give ‘Em Five model from the Responsibility Centered Discipline into the library’s curriculum, discipline & collection development.
- We want to support the school’s focus on 21st Century Learning Skills by collaborating with teachers and staff, through collection development, and library curriculum.
- We want to incorporate the meaningful use of data.

Go to Utah's Online Library and click on: World Book: Enciclopedia Estudiantil Hallazgos. This encyclopedia includes articles in Spanish, spanish newspapers, and a visual dictionary.
Featured Website/App Resource: Duolingo
Duolingo
Duolingo is a website/app resource where people can study different languages. Spanish is one of the languages available. Duolingo recently added the indigenous languages of Navajo (Dine) & Hawaiian.
