CALLING ALL JUNIORS AND SENIORS!!!
College Possible is a non-profit, college access and success organization that provides free college coaching to high school students interested in attending and graduating from a 4-year college/university – where that free college coaching involves support finding colleges, applying for college, and paying for college!
And as a part of that support, we’re hosting our very first College Experience Panel at Papillion-LaVista High School that will feature professors and staff from various colleges/universities who will provide insight on what incoming college freshmen can expect when they step foot on campus. In addition to professors and staff, the panel will also feature current college students who can provide insight on the college experience from a student’s perspective.
Come join us and learn more about what to expect that first day as a college student – check out the flyer below:

JUNIOR INTERVIEWS
The senior year is a very unique and exciting year for many reasons. All students should be considering what they will do after high school and some plans will require many steps. PLHS Counselors aim to meet with every junior individually for their Junior Interview. We will help set goals, lay out a general plan and help evaluate options. We will establish practical action steps to implement now as well as a timeline for subsequent steps. This can be an exciting process as together we strive to help students plan for future success.
HIGH SCHOOL RESUME
One of the topics covered in a junior interview is the high school activities resume. By now students have been introduced to the topic multiple times and encouraged to track their activities, honors, volunteering, etc. from their freshman year on. Now is a great time to create or update your high school resume. Click here to check out sample resumes that you can build in a documents program. Use these examples to choose your format, headings, etc. to building a resume unique to you. A great place to start is the EducationQuest website to create and customize your resume by clicking HERE.

His mother, Tiffany Mytty-Klein shared, "Partial props are due to PLHS’ Jumpstart Program. It was a valuable path for Cole to take and made a significant impact on the expense of an undergraduate degree." If you have Metro academy questions, reach out to Mrs. Shelli Koester.
