Mr. B's Bright Badger Lights
Learning a little bit more each day
Go Badgers !!!!
It is a very exciting time to be a Badger basketball fan! I encouraged the kids and staff to wear their red/Badger clothes for a chance to be part of the fun. Win or lose, the team will represent our state in the typical hard working effort and demonstrating terrific teamwork. I see the same kind of dynamics among our staff and students in our school. You can be proud all of them. Thanks for the support and your cooperation.
Green and hopefully growing
Below you will see some examples of some brave little shoots of plants braving the Wisconsin weather. I am including some signs of plants that will be sharing their color as the weather warms. Our Merton Garden will be making its second appearance after last year's initial planting. Enjoy the early photos with more to come later in spring. I am sure the kids will be making some visits to our garden to check out the new growth. OUr first graders have a FOSS science module where they plant and measure the growth of plants in their room.
I need a little sunshine and warm temps... .
Watch me grow soon. . . .
I can't wait to see how tall I can get. . . .
Pack "er" Up Donation Challenge
How cool would ti be to have former Packer, Donald Driver, visit our school because our families were the top donators of gently-used household items and clothing to any participating Goodwill Store and Donation Center in southeastern Wisconsin. (store hours and locations listed on www.AmazingGoodwill.com and our school will get the credit. No need to register. As you are doing your spring cleaning, this would be the perfect opportunity to gather the items and take them to Goodwill. A Pack'er Up donation slip with our school name, city and total items donated will be recorded by an attendant. It is that easy. Besides Donald, we would receive 12 autographed books by him and an authentic Riddell helmet. Thanks for your help.
Report Cards coming home... .
Be ready to check out the report cards today. I really enjoyed reading the comments by our teachers. These comments provide some insights into how the "grades" were determined. Be sure you ask questions if something is unclear or to send a thank you note for a terrific 3rd quarter.
