A Note From Mrs. Garrison
Last Friday we collected 2,387 pounds of food for the Interfaith Food Pantry, 58 pounds more than last year! Thank you again to all of the families who donated so generously!
On behalf of our entire staff, I want to thank you for all the sweet treats and gifts you have sent over the last week. We wish each of you a joyous holiday and wonderful new year!

On Saturday, January 11th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm student work will be available for viewing. The exhibit is held in the Conroe High School -9th Grade Campus gymnasium. Every school in our district is represented; and the show represents our finest quality work. Only a few pieces from each school are selected. So, this is quite an honor.

GOTR coaches needed for the spring!
Girls on the Run fall season just finished and we are looking forward to the spring season. We are in need of a few more coaches for the spring. If you are interested in finding out about how to become a GOTR coach please email Pam Owens at powens@conroeisd.net.
*Carnival sponsorships help support technology upgrades, admission for every student to attend school field trips, and playground enhancements. The PTO will provide sponsors with a donation tax receipt. If you would like to sponsor a game or booth, please return the completed form with payment to Powell Elementary PTO by Friday, January 31st.
