Principal’s Prose
Greetings Team,
I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend! I for one am super excited about this week, as appreciate and praise teachers for the work they do, and the gifts they give. We are so GRATEFUL to have a faculty of such determined and talented teachers, and all they do for students. As I have shared before on several occasions, I have a sincere and deeply rooted belief that being an educator is indeed a "calling", rather than a "job".
Adherence to this "call" is a choice that consistently demands a teacher to give time, talents and yes, treasures. It asks for an unwavering commitment to students with the knowledge and understanding that the value of their best work may possibly be unnoticed, undervalued and under-compensated. This "call" also demands selfless giving which converts what most would consider acts of sacrifice into investments in the lives of students.
Teaching is not for everyone, but I am grateful it is for you! Once again, thank you for all you do to "answer the call" each and every day. You are greatly appreciated, and it is and it honor to serve you all and join in the celebration with you this week!
Be Extraordinary,
MJ
