Middle & Senior School Athletic Celebration: Selwyn House Athletics is thrilled to celebrate the 2022-23 season. If your son participated in one or more competitive programs you are cordially invited to join us on the evening of Thursday, May 25. There will be a reception starting at 5:30 PM in the west courtyard, followed by the Awards Ceremony at 7:00 PM in Coristine Hall. Please RSVP here if you can attend.

Jazz Band Trip to Toronto: In preparation for their upcoming concerts, students from the mixed jazz band and mixed choir of Selwyn House School and ECS embarked on a four-day music development trip to Toronto. The trip was not only a musical experience, but it also exposed the students to Canada's rich culture and history.
Labo journalistique de Radio-Canada: Le 14 avril, Radio-Canada a envoyé trois professionnels à l'école Selwyn House pour animer un laboratoire passionnant et pratique pour la classe de Français plus de 10e année. Lire plus.

Summer Uniform is in effect. Senior School students do not need to wear the following items: Blazer, knitted sweater, knitted vest or long sleeve dress shirt. They do need to continue to wear formal dress shoes, school tie or bowtie, dress shirt (short or long) and dress pants. If there is a formal event, the students will be notified in advance to wear full uniform.

College and University Advising
May 17: US Admissions & NCAA Information Session, 4:30 -5:30 PM - By invite only: For students entering Grades 10-12. This session is for students interested in studying in the USA and pursuing varsity (elite) athletics in a Division I or II sport. Fill in this form if you are interested in attending. (Space is limited. Confirmed participants will be notified of the location by May 16).
May 18: University Visit with STFX, 1:00 -2:00 PM Lucas Seminar Room. Join a recruitment officer from St Francis Xavier Univerity and discover their academic programs, unique offerings, and studying in the safe and friendly town of Antigonish, Nova Scotia. May 15 - June 19: Student Meetings with your Advisor: Want to meet with your advisor to talk about summer opportunities, college and university visits & preparation, or find out more about College and University admissions? You can book a meeting here. Pick a date/time that works best for you. The calendar has been blocked off during the exam period between June 9 - 19 to accommodate more flexible hours. Email Ms. Peterman with your preferred date.

Student Leadership & Experiential Education
National Denim Day: On Tuesday, May 16 staff and students who would like to participate are invited to wear denim to support the fight against breast cancer. Students may replace one or as many uniform items as they wish with denim. If denim is not being worn, regular uniform is expected. We ask all students wearing denim to bring in a $2 donation. Senior School donations will be collected by first period teachers. If you wish to donate directly to the Cure Foundation, tax receipts are issued for donations of $20 or more.
Summer Camps: Summer is fast approaching and we are proud to offer a wide variety of summer camp options! Invite your friends, cousins and sisters to join a fun and enriching camp experience. Options include drama camp, debate camp, football tech, rock climbing & more! For more information, see our camps webpage here.
SOLO Trip: Grade 11 students who are participating in the Outdoor Education SOLO trip to Au Diable Vert (Eastern Townships) will be leaving after school on Friday, May 12 and returning Monday, May 15 after school. They will return to class on Tuesday, May 16.
