What's Happening this Week!
I hope everyone is doing well and has a great week.
Marvelous Math Skills: This week we are finishing circles and transformations and beginning area and perimeter. We will start with perimeter and area will begin after Spring Break.
Scientific Explorations: Rock Cycle has concluded and the students did really well. I am proud of all of their hard work. This week we will begin our unit on the solar system!!!
If you have any questions, concerns, or if you'd like to discuss your child's progress in more detail, please feel free to reach out.
Homework Expectations:
- Every night students can practice IXL recommendations for 10 minutes
- If extra materials come home, they are for practice for the unit and not to be turned in.
- Also, students do have the ability to take home unfinished work during the week. Though as a grade level, we are asking this doesn't happen over a weekend, due to grading needs and the likelihood of it getting misplaced over the weekend. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding these instructions.
Important Information:
- Please have devices charged every day, we will use them multiple times a day and have limited outlets
- My class can get chilly, please have a light sweatshirt to use when needed.
