A Note from Mrs. Mathe
Today, we celebrated our campus volunteers with a delicious breakfast treat! It's a small gesture, but it speaks volumes about our gratitude for everything our volunteers do to make Hines the exceptional school it is! To those who couldn't be with us, a heartfelt THANK YOU for your dedication and the time you generously contribute to support our school!
We have a busy couple of weeks coming up to round out April. With the onset of warmer weather and longer days, we're committed to upholding routines and schedules to keep students focused.
Next week our 3rd and 4th graders get to demonstrate their knowledge on the STAAR exam. While the test offers valuable insights, it's important to remember that your child's value extends far beyond its results alone. We take immense pride in all our students and recognize the incredible effort they put in each day!
Registration 24-25 School Year *NEW Students*
If your child is currently enrolled at Hines, you do not need to complete a new registration for next school year (for Hines or Clark Intermediate). During the summer, you will receive a link to update your student's registration information.
If you have a child that will be new to Hines next school year, or if you have neighbors or friends that will have a new Hines Husky next year, the information below is for you. Registration is now open for the 24-25 school year. Click here to be redirected to the Conroe ISD enrollment site to complete your child's registration.
A Message from our AP- Mrs. Summerville
Dear Parents,
Hines Elementary 3rd and 4th grade students will participate in the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) Reading test on Tuesday, April 16th and Tuesday, Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Any necessary make-up testing will be administered the following day.
In order to maintain an optimal testing environment for all students, we will observe a closed campus for visitors on those two days. This means we will not have any visitors at Hines Tuesday, April 16 and Tuesday, April 30.. For your information, below you will find the modified lunch and specials schedule for those two days only.
Also, please note, the building may be cooler on testing days. Please send a jacket with your child(ren).
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in helping our third and fourth grade students have the best environment for these tests.
Sincerely,
Tracy Summerville
Assistant Principal
