District Update

Galveston ISD Police Department
According to Chief LeeRoy Amador, Galveston ISD Police Officer Tim Cowart and his K9 partner Bonsai were called into action last week to assist GPD in the apprehension of a suspect they were chasing on foot. The duo tracked the suspect to a house five to six blocks away, where he was taken into custody for drug possession and an active felony warrant for which he was out on bond for a murder offense.
Thanks for a job well done by our K9 Team!
