Hello Spicewood Family!
Another amazing week at Spicewood in the books! We are so glad that many of you were able to enjoy the eclipse with us or with your families. I hope the clouds parted at just the right time wherever you watched.
On the the next big event! We have a huge need for field day volunteers. Please see the flyer below with the QR code and link to sign up to volunteer for this fun day outdoors! Our students and staff are so appreciative for your help in making this day a success.
Our 3rd-5th grade students did a wonderful job getting through their first round of STAAR testing. Our next test is for 5th graders on Wednesday the 17th. Please note that the campus is closed to visitors on all STAAR testing days due to test security.
Have a great weekend!

Eclipse Viewing
It was so wonderful having families join us for the eclipse on Monday. The clouds parted occasionally giving us a glimpse of this amazing event. Experiencing the darkness outside in the middle of the day was definitely something to remember!
We had over 200 family members RSVP to share the day with us and we truly appreciate everyone for helping us stick to our time tables and expectations for early sign outs etc. Although it was quite busy, it was manageable and all of our staff were able to get outside and experience the eclipse with our students.
Thank you for reading along with all of the emails!
