By Tami Gunset
Teachers,

UIL Academics - November 17:
Please know that all staff members will be on duty until we have completed UIL on the 17th of November. Each staff member will have a duty at LBMS, even once you have finished coaching your event. If we have everything covered at LBMS, then staff will be sent to North Elementary to help watch staff member’s kids as they are expecting 80 plus kids. I need all hands on deck to help make this a smooth day. It will be a casual dress day but I would like to see staff members wearing a Lubbock-Cooper spirit shirt.

T-TESS
This school year is a refinement year for T-TESS. In an effort to acquire input from teachers that are participating in T-TESS, TEA and the Texas Comprehensive Center have developed a short survey for teachers. The purpose of the survey is to gather current practitioner feedback about the T-TESS implementation process to better inform upcoming decisions . All input, positive or negative, is essential to help guide and strengthen the T-TESS appraisal system.
This survey should only take a few minutes to complete and will remain available until Friday, November 20th. Individual responses are strictly confidential and will only be reported in the aggregate.
We strongly encourage teachers to participate in this survey and provide their opinion. Administrators are asked to ensure their teachers participate in this survey.
The survey may be found by clicking on the following link:

November is American Diabetes Month. Lubbock-Cooper ISD has teamed with the American Diabetes Association to help raise funds for research to find a cure.
Here at Lubbock-Cooper Middle School, cheerleaders will be selling bracelets and paper hands for $1.00 each during the grade level lunches. Students may wear the bracelets to show their support for a cure and put their name on the hand and have it displayed in the cafeteria. The grade level that raises the most money from November 9-19 will win a Coke float party on Friday November 20 at the end of the day.
