March 2 is Dr. Seuss’ birthday and to celebrate, NPES is hosting a READING PATROL!
On Thursday, March 2 , the NPES Reading Patrol will be driving around looking for NPES families who are READING! You can read magazines, newspapers, books ...whatever! If we catch your family reading, you will win a Reading Patrol Prize!
From 6pm -8pm, hang your sign,that was sent home with your student when you registered, and turn on your porch light to signify your family for a visit from the Reading Patrol.

Family Math Night is coming
Save the Date! We will be having Family Math Night at the Hendrix Crossing Publix on Thursday, March 16th from
4:30 - 6:30. A flyer for parents will be coming home soon with your student
Jarrett J. Krosoczka is coming to NPES!
We are pleased to announce that children’s book author and illustrator, JJK, will be visiting NPES on April 5, 2017! JJK is the author/illustrator of a number of books for children. His books range from picture books to novels to graphic novels and appeal to all ages! He will be conducting presentations for all K-5 students on April 5. If you would like to pre-order a book, please indicate which one(s) you want on this order form and return it with payment to your child’s teacher by March 10, 2017.
