Mentor Manor
THIS Is Where Mentoring Matters...
FROM THE KIDS...
Achilles Perls (3rd grader) from Bluebonnet Trail Elementary
Mentor: Joshua Liebowitz from Samsung
Grace Sandy & Nia Green (4th graders) from Bluebonnet Trail Elementary
Mentor: Dr. Eileen Klein, Community Member
RESEARCH SAYS...
Jose Rivera (Samsung) and his mentee Brayan Guerrero (Pioneer Crossing Elem)
Isaiah Arguello (Decker MS) and his mentor Jesus Del Rio Munoz (Community Member)
Alyson Freeman, Ph.D. (Samsung) and K'Tron Calvert (Pioneer Crossing Elem)
Activities should be appropriate for your mentee's age. Elementary age students enjoy fun physical activities and rule-based games. Teens enjoy activities that let them interact with their peers and provide opportunities to test new abilities. When mentoring teens, it may be best to work with a small group as opposed to younger students who enjoy "your complete attention".
