MHS Students Leap into their Future
Yesterday, Mac High students focused on their future lives with a variety of activities based on their grade level. Ninth graders explored different pathways in a rotation of three choices. Sophomores took a step toward college entrance exams with the PreACT. Juniors took the ASVAB, an aptitude test and interest inventory that can help match students with a career. Seniors learned about job hunting and financial literacy.

Build a Strong Foundation with School Every Day
Did you know that missing just two days a month in the early grades can lead to learning gaps? These gaps can mean students struggle to read by third grade. Difficulties with reading affect all areas of academics and can also impact motivation and the desire to come to school.
