Week of 12/10-12/14
Message from Principal Polomsky
Elmwood Parents & Community~
We continue to start our day on the morning announcements by speaking about SOAR expectations and we challenge students to make a difference in our school community. Ask your child tonight at dinner about SOAR- what does it stand for? What does it look like in the classroom? On the playground? We are so proud of our students for SOARing everyday, and we thank you for your help with reinforcing it at home as well.
Thank you for working with us to #Make A Difference this year!
Yours Truly,
Lisa Polomsky

Reminder: No Pets on School Property
As a gentle reminder, there are no dogs/pets allowed on school grounds during drop off and pick up. If you choose to bring your dog with you when you walk to school, you must stay across the street and not walk your dog onto school property. This is to help keep all our students safe during this busy/congested time. If you have questions, please refer to our school handbook.
Elementary Golf School
Elementary Golf School is offering an exciting junior golf program at Elmwood School, designed to expose golf to juniors of all ability levels. This program is created and taught by PGA Professionals, to include lesson plans that are fun, safe, and educational. Youngsters will be given the opportunity to experiment with playing a variety of different shots. Our program teaches basic fundamentals, with plenty of variation for practicing and playing. We will not only teach the shots, but also the etiquette, behavior and finer points of the rules of the game. Our instructors will be able to adjust the level of complexity to each child’s individual level of progress.
For more information, or to register for the after school golf program at Elmwood School, please visit www.elementarygolfschool.com or call (630) 853-6348.
