Macbeth was weak and did whatever he was told to do. His wife was more in control and had him following her demands. When he found out that he was going to be king, Macbeth decided to kill King Duncan (after his wife told him to). He was very unsure of it all and didn't know whether he should do it or not. As time passed, he and his wife managed to take away a few other innocent lives. Eventually, they were caught.
In the book Fahrenheit 451, Guy Montag was fighting against his government (the monsters). In the society which he lived in, books were banned (except for the bible); no forms of literature were allowed. Anyone caught with a book or newspaper were immediately punished. This was the government's way of gaining control over the people and keeping them from experiencing or learning new ideas from books. Guy Montag tried to fight back by sneaking in books and reading them, whatever they were about. Towards the end, he was caught.
