Calling All Dads!
Hello Dads of Austin Parkway!
My name is Jordan McDougal and I too, am an Austin Parkway dad and a PTA Board member. I am excited to announce that, with the full support of Principal Macklin, we are initiating the Dad’s Club. This is not a chore or responsibility, but rather an opportunity to allow fathers or father figures specifically to volunteer and be a presence at the school for our children. There will be four Fridays available in the fall to sign up to help with morning drop-off or lunch. Again, I am very excited to get this going, so if you are a father or a father figure for your student, please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Please remember all volunteers must have a current FBISD background check. You may complete your background check here: www.fortbendisd.com/Page/828
If you have any questions, please contact me at jgmcdougal@gmail.com or Christy Henneke at president@austinparkwaypta.org.
Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you soon!

Little Ranger Cheer Clinic
Hi there Sailors!
The Clements cheerleaders are excited to host our annual Little Ranger Cheer Clinic again this year! The event is open to all K-6th graders and is scheduled for Saturday, December 2nd in the competition gym at Clements. Little Rangers who attend will also be invited to cheer with us at the Clements vs Ridge Point basketball game on December 11th.
We would love to have your kids join us, and we especially love welcoming our future Rangers! Little Rangers must be registered by 11/17 to be guaranteed a t-shirt, so the sooner we can get it out the better!

(EFBHNM) are partnering with ABC13 and the Ismaili community to participate in the Share Your Holidays Food Drive scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 28th, at the Ismaili Jamatkhana and Center. This partnership brings together an interfaith community, non-profit organization, and a Fort Bend ISD Program as part of a collective goal to alleviate hunger in our local community. Items needed include Stuffing, Rice, Noodles, Soups, Cranberry Sauce, Crackers, Canned Fruit and Vegetables.
Let’s show the community our gratitude for the things we have by sharing our food with those in need.

Please - No Deliveries / Birthday Cookies / No Nuts
Please No Deliveries During the Day
Parents and parent organizations are welcome on all FBISD campuses. We value strong relationships and partnerships with our parents but we ask that you keep campus visits to a minimum.
Please do not bring forgotten items such as homework, water bottles or jackets during the school day.
Send snacks and lunch to school with students in the morning.
Birthday Treats - We Kindly Request Cookies
Although you may send cupcakes to school, we respectfully ask that you send store-bought cookies and napkins or small paper plates. No nuts please, due to allergies.
Cookies or cupcakes must be store-bought. A parent or guardian must bring the cookies into the building and complete the cookie log, which is submitted to FBISD’s Child Nutrition office.
Prior to sending any treats, please contact your child’s teacher.
***Goodie bags, drinks, etc. will not be accepted.***
No Nuts Please
Because we have students at APE with life threatening food allergies to peanuts and nuts, we do NOT allow peanut or nut products in the classrooms. Please check the ingredients on the snack to make sure that peanuts or nuts are not in the snack. Be aware that many products have cross contamination with nuts because they share machinery that produces nut products. Your child can eat these products in the cafeteria during their lunch period.
Dismissal/Transportation Change Notification No Later Than 2:00 p.m. Daily
