Tweens
Tweens have a lot going on in their brains right now. What are we doing as teachers to adjust to how their brains are working right now? Try not to lecture more than 10-12 minutes without some type of activity. Are we giving them to much information to comprehend? Are we sticking to 5-7 bits of information per day?
Try the 30/90/10 rule. Every 30 minutes give students a 90 second brain break to move around at least 10 feet.
