The federalists supported a stronger government and weaker state governments; supported the ratification of the constitution.

Was Hamilton's major collaborator, later president of the United States and "Father of the Constitution"
John Jay
Was an important American statesman and a founding father of the United States.
They definatly wanted a stronger government and the Bill of Rights was unnecessary!
