Beauftiful One Day, Perfect the Next. By Jimmy Glendenning
Why Go To Earth?
-Earth is home to many sightings around the globe on every continent that will take your breath away.
-Earth is the place where you cant get bored of doing things that you love to do. There is a time and place for everything that you are interested in on this planet.
Science About Earth
-Earth has one moon, we call this moon, The Moon. The Moon is 238,900 miles away from Earth.
-Earth has seasons. These seasons are Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Winter is cold, Autumn is chilly, Summer is hot, and Spring is warm. These seasons are caused by the tilt of Earth on its axis.
-Rotation is how the Earth spins on its axis. This takes about 24 hours for the Earth to make one rotation. Revolution is how long it takes for the Earth to make one orbit around the Sun. This is about 365 days.
-The energy for the Earth comes from the sun in a process called nuclear fusion (a nuclear reaction in which atomic nuclei of low atomic number fuse to form a heavier nucleus with the release of energy).
-Earth is a round shape because of gravity. When our Solar System was forming, gravity gathered billions of pieces of gas and dust into clumps which grew larger and larger to become the planets. The force of gravity, pulled this molten material inwards towards the planet's center into the shape of a sphere.
-Light Years is how far light travels in one year. Your planet is probably light years away from Earth.
-Gravity is responsible for our galaxies forming. This is what made our planet so beautiful.
How it was made
-Gravity slowly gathered this gas and dust together into clumps that became asteroids and small early planets called planetesimals.
Unique Features About Earth
-Earth has caverns as deep as 5 miles and mountains as big as 6!
-We have Seven Continents with different climates and features on every one of them!
-The most important thing about Earth is that we have WATER! Water is a drink that tastes so refreshing and you can swim in it! Oceans, Lakes, Rivers, and Seas are some of the major bodies of water that are around this planet. Especially islands which are truly beautiful.
