Engagement
New Oreland: Andrew Jackson defeats the British. Seven hundred British were killed and 1,400 wounded; while only eight Americans were killed and 13 wounded.
Washington D.C: With further pressure by Congress’s War Hawks, Madison decided to sign into action the inevitable. Also known as “Mr. Madison’s War" or “The Second American Revolution."
Put-In-Bay: The British naval attack was repulsed by Captain Perry.
Detroit: The British Major General, Henry Proctor and Tecumseh were defeated after trying numerous failed attacks against Lieutenant Colonel George Croghan’s U.S. forces
