Superintendent's Message
Superintendent’s message:
Happy spring! We are so lucky to be able to live in such a beautiful place! Spring break begins for students this Friday, March 22nd. School will resume on Monday, April 1st. Teachers will be working on grades this Friday.
This year we will be running registration differently in an effort to get a better idea of the number of students to plan and staff for. Registration will begin on May 1st for all returning and any new students. Everyone will need to provide 2 pieces of proof of residence:
Mortgage statement, property deed, or tax assessment if you own your home. We will accept a lease agreement for anyone who is renting.
Current (within the last 30 days) utility bill in your name.
Additionally, students who are new to the district are required by Idaho Code to provide a state certified birth certificate and an immunization record or an exemption form signed by the parent.
For returning students, it will look like you are registering them for the grade they are currently in. We cannot roll our students over to the next grade in our system until summer school is complete. When the rollover happens, everything you provided for registration will also rollover to the correct grade level.
If you have any questions about what documentation is needed, please reach out to your child’s school. They will be happy to assist you.
Have a wonderful spring break!
Lisa Arnold
