OUTLIERS: The Story of Success
MALCOLM GLADWELL
Outliers is an interesting book with intertwined bits of mind-blowing material. It is a stunning novel about being successful. Although, Gladwell does not discuss what you can do to become successful. The book instead covers all the things you can't change that are examples of people who are lucky, ones who are not, and others who work for success. Along the way, Gladwell shares what he believes it takes to be apart of the highest grossing law firms in the world, how the Beatles became an elite hockey player, and the ins and outs of the software millionaires. All of these are viewed as relations to their generations, birth date, and culture. As Gladwell says, "Their success is not exceptional or mysterious, it is grounded in a web of all critical to making them who they are. The outlier in the end, is not an outlier at all." Go to the nearest book store and purchase the book, Outliers: The Story of Success. It blew my mind and it will blow yours. And just a fair warning, you wont want to put the book down.
