NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL...
Students in grades K through five are in the process of completing their 2nd iReady diagnostic assessment. I have been able to look at some students who have finished their assessments, and most have made great progress. All students should be finished with the diagnostics before the break and will be able to resume iReady lessons in January (unless they finish the diagnostic assessments early).
In January we plan to roll out a school spirit day on Wednesdays (Spirit Wear Wednesday). Students are encouraged to wear their school spirit wear or wear gray and burgundy to school. Teachers will record percentages of students in their class that participate in Spirit Wear Wednesday. Much thanks to Mrs. Stevens who is working with PTO to get a trophy that will travel to the class with the highest percentage of student participants each week.
