From the Principal
Hello MQSCA Families-
This next week students in 3rd-8th grade will begin Forward testing. It is important that every student receive a good nights rest and a good breakfast. Please see the special Forward Test section below with grade level tests and times for each week. Testing will begin Tuesday and run through the end of April. We try to break up the testing to keep the daily schedule as routine as possible!
I would also like to take this time to thank all of the supporters of the 2nd annual Sip and Support that was last weekend. It was another successful evening for raising money for our playground! A special thank goes out to the Sip and Support committee for their continued dedication to the event. They have been meeting and planning since November to make sure the Sip and Support was a success. In addition, a special thank you to Franklin Meats for being the food sponsor. Thank you to all those that donated raffle baskets and item for the silent auction items. We hope to announce final numbers for the event in the next week or two. We are still waiting on a few final invoices from the day of the event.
In Christ-
Mr. Lee

Tardies at MQSCA
Student Tardiness is becoming a problem at MQS. This is a reminder that students are considered tardy at 7:50am. The last few weeks we have averaged 10% tardy rate, meaning 16 students a day are entering that classroom late.
We offer morning breakfast from 7:15-7:35 in the cafeteria. We are asking parents to make an effort to drop you children off prior to 7:35 if they need a breakfast.
Smart Smiles
Smart Smiles (by Ascension Healthcare) will be at MQS the week of April 9th, providing no cost dental care to students. If you would like your student to participate you must fill out the Smart Smiles Consent Form
Smart Smiles provides dental screening, fluoride, oral health education, sealants, and other preventative dental services.
Chuck E Cheese Fundraiser
Home and School Committee is raising funds for teacher requested educational materials for each individual classroom.
20% of total profits will be donated directly to our school. Flyers and coupons will be passed out the week before. Applies to delivery and carryout orders as well.
We will also have a special visit from Chuck E. Cheese at dismissal the same day!

Seton Value: Transformation
Saint of the Week: St. Joseph Husband of Mary
Virtue of the Week: Urgent
Feast Day: March 17th
Scripture of the Week:
Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. Romans 13:11
Prayer of the Week:
Heavenly Father, we gather together and come into agreement in the wonderful and powerful Name of Jesus Christ. Where two or more are gathered there You’ll be in the midst of us and anything we agree upon as touching You will surely do. Father, we place their priorities in front of You right now. If there is anything we need to change, we will change it. Help us to live a life in which our priorities are balanced in Your sight. A life where we invest not only in the present but also in eternity that is to come. Life is about the here and now but it is also about eternity. What is done here on earth affects Heaven. Amen.

Safe Enviroment Training
In order to be involved in any school activities, including chaperoning a field trip, coaching a sport, or volunteering in a classroom, you have to be safe environment trained. Below is the link to register for a training. No exceptions will be made, it is an archdiocesan mandate. If you plan to volunteer now, or in the future in any way, you MUST have attended a safe environment training. Please reach out to Simone Gaspar if you have questions about safe environment training, if you need to be trained, or if a new background check needs to be conducted. If you think you have been in safe environment training in the past, but are unsure, please double check.
