Spotlight on Ms. Thomas
Ms. Thomas contributed tremendously to our Ann Richards Career Day. Four of our fifteen guest speakers were due to her efforts at reaching out to the community. Ms. Thomas is committed to our mantra Learn. Lead. Achieve and I owe a debt of gratitude to her and want to let everyone know is an ARSA Legend.
Spotlight on Sgt. Salters
Major kudos to Sergeant Salters and his awesome ARSA cadets. Sergeant Salters holds a disciplined yet nurturing ambiance, which illustrates so virtuously to the academic, and social achievements amongst students. Thanks so much for taking a moment to extend assist with one of our graduates. Sergeant Salters you are sharp, and an overall great role model.
Spotlight on Mrs. Parada
I would like to highlight Ms. Parada, many events have been taking place and she is the financial geek to get everything and everyone approved and paid. This time of the year is very busy and all events sailed smoothly due to her commitment to the best for our students.
Spotlight on Ms. Hudson
I would like to take this time to acknowledge an Amazing Caring teacher that I have learned a lot from and enjoyed working with this school year.Ms. Hudson.
It has been rewarding to see how she invest not only in her students academics but in them as a whole.
She greets them at the door daily. She corrects, councils, listens, encourages, and makes each one feel special.
For STAAR , she hunted each of her students down to give them a handwritten note of encouragement .
She also has allowed them to give her verbal feedback on what their learning experiences were in her class and having her as teacher.
Today she entertained them with one of her many talents.Tap Dancing !
Although, I have been teaching for many years, I have learned a lot from this first year teacher!
